CINCINNATI — The Reds traded Jonathan India to the Kansas City Royals on Friday night in exchange for right-hander Brady Singer.
India spent the first four seasons of his career with the Reds. He won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 2021. They took him with the fifth pick in the 2018 MLB Draft.
The Reds released a tribute video honoring India shortly after trading him. Watch it below:
