Manchester United entertain Brentford in Matchweek 8 of the English Premier League season.

The match at Old Trafford, Manchester, United Kingdom, kicks off at 3pm (14:00 GMT).

United have won just one of their past six Premier League fixtures with pressure growing on manager Erik ten Hag.

The Bees have lost all three away games in the league this season and have lost all of their last five trips to Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur entertain London rivals West Ham United in the first game of the day, while title-contenders Arsenal travel to Bournemouth in their final game of the day.

Early Manchester United team news

Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui is available for United selection despite undergoing a minor heart surgery during the international break.

Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire are both missing having sustained injuries at Aston Villa two weeks ago.

Manuel Ugarte, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo all trained this week after also having concerns over minor knocks.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are under way in the Premier League

The match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London is under way and we’ll keep you up to date as the goals go in from that one.

Spurs could climb from ninth to sixth in Matchweek 8, while a win for the Hammers would see them climb above their hosts.

What now for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag?

The lead-up to the international break resulted in two draws for ten Hag, which ironically may have been enough to save him. A hard-fought draw at Champions League side Aston Villa was not to be sniffed at, although two further draws in the Europa League for United sat either side of that fixture.

United have won just one of their past six Premier League fixtures and maybe the visit of the Bees, who have lost all three away games in the league this season, is the medicinal honey the doctor ordered.
