Transfer news LIVE!
Today could see the first major deals of the January window confirmed as Tottenham welcome Timo Werner for his medical and hope to have fended off Bayern Munich after agreeing a fee for Radu Dragusin. Arsenal have been linked with Amadou Onana, while Chelsea are reportedly weighing up moves for Victor Osimhen, Paulo Dybala and Jordan Henderson.
With Ivan Toney seemingly staying at Brentford this window, the Gunners are ready to hold off on a striker siging and instead focus on bolstering their midfield, and Everton’s Onana is reportedly top of Mikel Arteta’s wishlist. It remains to be seen if interest is real and if Sean Dyche would even entertain a move.
Another injury to Christopher Nkunku could see Mauricio Pochettino launch a bid for Roma’s Dybala, who is available on a cut-price deal. It’s a move which surely makes sense from a Manchester United point of view, too, given their struggles in front of goal. Jadon Sancho is still in talks over a loan move to Borussia Dortmund, who are set to take Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen for the rest of the sesaon. However, Guimaraes does have a release clause in excess of £100m which can be triggered.

Manchester United are set to finalise their first January signing.
The Mirro report that Scotland Under-19 goalkeeper Callan McKenna will complete a move from Queen’s Park this week.
The deal is unexpected to cost less than £1million, but could rise beyond that figure if performance-related add-ons are met.
Arsenal were also keen but it is United who have lured the teenage goalkeeper south of the border.

But now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the deal has been finalised. Konak is likely to first join up with the Brentford B team, where the likes of Yehor Yarmolyuk honed his craft before moving up to the first team.

Chelsea want to cash in on Maatsen
Chelsea are likely to look to cash in on Borussia Dortmund-bound Ian Maatsen as they bid to stay in line with Financial Fair Play constraints while continuing to spend big on new signings, writes Nizaar Kinsella.
The Blues remain in the market for January incomings, with a striker, central defender and left-back all being considered.
Signing a striker remains their priority but Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney, two key targets, are difficult and expensive to secure.
