The Red Devils were poor as they lost 3-0 at Old Trafford
Manchester United fans want Erik ten Hag sacked after their chastening 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils were outplayed throughout the clash, with a brace from Luis Diaz and second half effort from Mohamed Salah firing their fierce rivals to victory.
United had gone into the clash needing to bounce back after their 2-1 defeat to Brighton last weekend.
Yet they were comprehensively outplayed by Arne Slot’s side, who were fully deserving of their victory.

Ten Hag was retained by United after he guided the club to FA Cup glory earlier in the summer.
The 54-year-old seems unable to get the best from his players, however, with the Red Devils looking like the team that finished eighth in the Premier League last season.
And some United fans on social media want Ten Hag to be axed after another nightmare day at the office.
“New players, same mistakes we need to get rid of Ten Hag and bring in someone who knows what their doing,” said one user.

“Get rid of Ten Hag now and bring in Ruud [Van Nistelrooy] as interim watch us start scoring now,” raged a second.
“Can they please sack Ten Hag and terminate Casemiro and Onana contract this evening,” said another.
A fourth stated: “Sack Ten Hag. Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] was and is still better.”
A fifth said: “United should sack Ten Hag today and get Tuchel.”

And a sixth opined: “Sack Ten Hag, he has no strategy and solid preparation.”
United did, at one point, consider axing Ten Hag – despite the FA Cup win over City.
Thomas Tuchel was considered, only for the German to decide to take a break from management after a turbulent time in charge of Bayern Munich.
Gareth Southgate, Thomas Frank, Marco Silva, Roberto Martinez and Roberto De Zerbi were all linked with the post as well.

But United opted to stick, rather than twist.
That gamble appears to be backfiring, with the Red Devils still a shadow of the team that won Premier League titles aplenty under Sir Alex Ferguson.
And Roy Keane has slammed the fallen giants after yet another nightmare performance.
“You can try to dress it up a little bit but United were shocking. They were absolutely shocking,” he said.

“Every time Liverpool went forward, they looked like they were going to score.
“There were two mistakes from an experienced player [Casemiro] and then another mistake at the start of the second half.
“It wasn’t good. There’s been a lot of PR the last few months about plans for the stadium and blah, blah, blah.
“But in a big g
ame today against Liverpool, United didn’t turn up.”
