To celebrate the release of Moana 2 on November 29, 2024, Disney Lorcana TCG is partnering with select cinemas around the world to give out a special preview promo card.
Update: More countries have been added to the list.
Fans can get the promo card by watching the movie at ODEON group cinemas in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China. The film releases Nov 28th/29th in most countries, and the card is available until Dec 8/9th while stocks last.
The card is a promo version of Moana – Adventurer of Land and Sea from set 7 – which is still unnamed and without a release date. It’s has the promo logo and is numbered card 26 of Promo Set 2, meaning a lot more promo cards to come.

You can find showings at UK ODEON cinemas now, ODEON Ireland here, at FilmStaden in Sweden here, and UCI Portugal here. Look for ODEON, FilmStaden, and UCI for the promotion in other countries.
Hoyts is hosting in Australia and New Zealand. In Japan and China, various different cinema chains will be offering the promo.
The Portuguese and Swedish versions of the card will feature the name “Vaiana,” but the rest of the text will remain in English. The Japanese version has all Japanese text, and the Chinese version has all Chinese (simplified) text.
The official announcement showed the beautiful full art of the card. The news is only on the GB, France, Italy, and German sites because an announcement for the US hasn’t been made.

This is the second tie-in promo card available for events/products that aren’t exclusively about Disney Lorcana. The Prince John – Gold Lover – Villainous Promo is also available in the latest print of the Disney Villainous Intro to Evil set.
These type of larger-scale promo cards are important in bringing in players new to TCGs, and especially younger players wanting to collect their favorite Disney characters. Will this tempt you into seeing the movie?
