Ruben Amorim tonight takes charge of his first home game as Man Utd manager as Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt come to Old Trafford in the Europa League. The United boss oversaw a 1-1 draw with Ipswich on Sunday and will no doubt be looking for improvements. While these are early days into his tenure and judgement will be reserved, a win tonight feels important.
United have won only once this season in this competition and have largely underwhelmed thus far. To expect Amorim to have completely turned them around already feels harsh but failing to turn it out against a team with far fewer resources would be hugely disappointing.
