Manchester City will be eyeing their fifth Premier League title in six years next season

Manchester City could face one of their toughest battles in the Premier League title race with Liverpool and Arsenal both working on deals for new strikers.

City have one of the best strikers in world football in their ranks in the shape of Erling Haaland. While Mohamed Salah fired the Reds to the title last season, the Anfield club lack a real threat at centre forward.

It is something they are looking to rectify after agreeing a six-year deal with Hugo Ekitike with just a fee left to agree with Eintracht Frankfurt. Meanwhile, Viktor Gyokeres has agreed to join Arsenal, with the Gunners looking to finalise an agreement with Sporting CP.

As City’s main rivals get to work in the market, here’s how the bookies predict the Premier League title race will go…with City already completing a good chunk of their business ahead of the Club World Cup.
