Pep admits he is questioning himself
Asked by reporters in the post-match briefing whether he was questioning his management, the Man City replied: βYeah, of course.β
βOf course, I question myself in the good moments and the bad moments,β said Guardiola.
βI was stable in the good moments, and Iβm stable in the bad moments β¦ My biggest challenge is when they give me the opportunity to be a manager and get results to continue to work.
βIf I would miss the big challenge in the first season, the second season, I wouldnβt be here.β

Next up for Juve and Man City in the Champions League
City, who host Manchester United live on Al Jazeera Sport in the Premier League on Sunday, continue their Champions League campaign at Paris Saint-Germain on January 22.
Juventus travel to Bruges on January 21.
With two games remaining in the group phase, Juventus are 14th in the table while City plummeted to 22nd, three places and one point outside of automatic elimination from the competition.
The bottom 12 places are eliminated and five points separate City from the top eight places β and automatic qualification for the last 16 β with the PSG match and the visit of Club Brugge remaining in their league phase campaign.
Since the start of November, City have conceded more goals (21) across all competitions than any other team in Europeβs big five leagues, the worst spell in Guardiolaβs otherwise sparkling managerial career.

Dusan Vlahovicβs post-match reaction
Vlahovicβs header, his 10th goal of the season, helped to snap a frustrating four-match run of draws for Juventus and brightened the mood among fans who have been disappointed with Thiago Mottaβs opening few months as coach.
Juve had drawn 11 of their 20 matches in all competitions coming into Wednesdayβs match, but a rugged display moved them up to 11 points and ended with fans roaring with joy and colouring the stands of the Allianz Stadium with flag waving.
βThe whole team played well. We did everything that we had to do. Itβs a fantastic result and can push us on for the rest of the season,β said Vlahovic.
βWeβre lacking a bit of experience because weβre a very young side but here at Juve, there isnβt time, you have to get results straight away.β

βWe missed the result, but the performance was thereβ
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke after the match: βWe played really good. We missed the last action. We conceded a few in transition. I am so proud of these players. They have given everything. They tried.
βHopefully, we can change the results going forward. We didnβt lose many balls like in the past. We tried to arrive in the [right] position. We know Italian teams are so defensively compact. They are masters of this. We missed the result, but the performance was there.
βOur three games away were really tough. We have to accept it. We have to forget that period. We appreciate more what we did in the past and what we will do in the future.β

Post-match stat attack β Man City
One win in 10 games for Manchester City is Cityβs worst run since 2006 when former England defender Stuart Pearce was manager.
City have not gone three games without a win in the Champions League since 2014 when they failed to win any of their opening four games that season.

βAt the moment, it is not working out for usβ
Manchester City midfielder Gundogan spoke with the host broadcaster after the match: βIt is very disappointing. We had chances to score goals, but at the moment, every attack we concede a goal, so itβs dangerous.
βFeel like we are a bit careless in the duels. We miss the right timing to pass the ball. We are struggling in transition. We have to chase every time.
βWe are built for possession and to keep the ball. Even if you canβt do anything in the duel, donβt lose the ball. At the moment it, is not working out for us.
βIt is a big part of it [confidence]. It is a mental issue. Sometimes we miss the ball, lose a duel, and we drop immediately and lose our rhythm. They can break our rhythm.
βWe have to do the simple things as good as possible. This is how you get the confidence back. At the moment, we are always doing the wrong things.
βI feel like we know exactly what is going wrong. We know the reasons, and still, if you look at the games, we donβt play bad.
βWe play quite good football. But if you give away one chance and they score, then itβs not easy to score and bounce back.
βTrying to find the switch to turn things around. As long as we donβt find that click, itβs going to be tough. We have to question ourselves to do better.β
