Arsenal returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, Bukayo Saka had to be withdrawn with an injury after providing a goal and an assist at the Emirates Stadium.
Gabriel Martinelli has revealed a new instruction that Mikel Arteta has set for himself and Saka moving forward. Meanwhile, the Premier League’s Independent Key Match Incidents Panel has ruled the referee and the VAR were correct to award Newcastle United’s winning goal against Arsenal on Saturday.

Gabriel Martinelli reveals clear Arsenal instruction that Mikel Arteta wants from Bukayo Saka
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has revealed the clear instruction he, and Bukayo Saka, have been set by Mikel Arteta. The Brazilian winger enjoyed a strong performance in the 2-0 win against Sevilla at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Gunners now need just a single point from their two remaining group stage fixtures against RC Lens and PSV Eindhoven to ensure they qualify for the Champions League last-16. Arsenal took the lead against Sevilla through Leandro Trossard – who started in attack after news emerged that Eddie Nketiah had sustained a knock on his ankle.
Saka did brilliantly to set the Belgian up, whilst Martinelli continued to threaten on the left. The England international doubled the Gunners’ lead in the second half with a well-taken finish – making it five goal contributions in four Champions League appearances for the Hale End graduate.
However, Saka’s night was cut short after he limped off with an injury with just 15 minutes left to play. After the game, Arteta offered an update on the 22-year-old’s fitness.
