Manchester United have rarely struggled to convince the game’s best players to join them despite their continued lack of success over the years. Recently, the club have signed Paul Pogba, Casemiro, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane from big clubs by using the attractive pull that is Man United.
Last summer, they signed one of Europe’s best performing goalkeepers, Andre Onana, and convinced Mason Mount to leave boyhood club Chelsea. This year, Erik ten Hag’s squad will once more be strengthened with a number of areas requiring attention.
A new centre-back, left-back, central midfielder and forward have all been earmarked as priority targets this summer. Pre-season starts this month and preparation will get underway ahead of a crucial 2024/25 season.

Osimhen green light
As mentioned above, United have never struggled to sign big players despite their continued lack of dominance in football. This summer, Victor Osimhen could be the next big player to move to Old Trafford.
MEN Sport understands that United have not ruled out the possibility of allowing Marcus Rashford to leave amid a slight adjustment to the forward’s representation. Rashford’s brother, Dwaine Maynard, has held discussions with an agency to potentially assist in managing the England international.
