Manchester United are not in action this week with their work limited to the transfer market.
The Red Devils have a weekend off from Premier League action and still have just over a week to prepare for their FA Cup showdown with Newport County.
There’s still a lot to talk about from Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag attempts to add to his squad. A number of names have already been linked including Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt.
Vinicius Jr has already been strongly linked with a switch to Manchester in a mega-money deal. He could potentially be joined by former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema, who is attempting to leave Saudi Arabia – although Arsenal could have something to say about that.

Red Devils have weekend off
You may or may not have noticed but the Red Devils aren’t in action this weekend. Erik ten Hag’s men are missing from the Premier League schedule throughout the next couple of days.
Their next game is next Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Newport.

Vinicius price set
Speaking of Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward, it appears that the Red Devils might have to pay through the nose to sign him.
According to reports in the forward’s home country, United would have to pay around €250m to even get Real Madrid to talk, while discussions over a deal have not even started.
It was previously suggested that a deal worth €150m could be possible.
