Arsenal have been handed a major injury worry, with winger Bukayo Saka picking up an injury during Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla. The Hale End academy graduate was constantly kicked throughout the night at the Emirates Stadium, but that didn’t top him from picking up an assist for Leandro Trossard’s opener before he doubled his side’s lead in the second half with a clinical finish.

However, he did pick up some kind of knock in the final 15 minutes of the game, appearing to land awkwardly after going up for a header. Saka then limped off the pitch, with defender Jakub Kiwior replacing him.

The 22-year-old has been in stellar form in Europe this term, now netting twice and providing a further four assists from just four outings. His form domestically has been similar too, registering four goals and three assists from ten league fixtures.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will be praying that his star attacker makes a swift recovery ahead of this weekend’s home clash against Burnley before his players will head off with their respective nations for the international break. The north London outfit currently sit fourth in the league standings, three points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games.
